Does Backerkit make sure that you get the entire amount?

Backerkit will do their best to remind backers to update their payment methods if they are not able to collect the amount at the end, but they are not going to replace the amount that has been lost from failed transactions for us. That is not their job or their position to do so. We rely heavily on backers to fulfill what they promised, which is to complete the payment. We can only go by your word, and once the timer ends for that campaign, the ending amount will never be the complete total, which jeopardizes everyone’s orders. You are HURTING the campaign and its backers by not cancelling before the campaign ends if you do not have the intention of fulfilling the pledge. Please do not join, if this is not the Backerkit campaign for you. <3

Will you have extras in your Etsy shop?

I will try to have anything that is left from fulfillment available. The Backerkit campaign takes priority and pins will not be listed until the last pin is shipped off.

Am I charged for VATs upfront?

No. Your payment is strictly for your items, and the shipping. VAT and taxes will be paid by you once the item reaches your country. The Backerkit Campaign highlights this as the procedure for this particular campaign.

What size will the pins be, and why so big?

The main Dragon Pins to be unlocked are at least 2.5” inches (63.5 mm). There is A LOT of small detail in each of these that would be lost if I made them smaller.

I need to change my address, I just moved.

No worries! If you need to change your address, while pins are in production, you are more than welcome to make updates! You can follow the link back through your survey and make the updates. I will lock addresses around the beginning of September, but I can give you a better update once I hear that the pins are ready. I will give you 48 hrs before locking.

Will you send us regular updates?

Yes! I love show and tell! As soon as I have photos and updates, I’ll announce them via Backerkit.

Do you do refunds?

Once the orders go out in March, there are no refunds. Funds will go to the purchase of supplies and pins.

Why can't I back this campaign if I live in the EU?

Due to the requirements issued last year, I will no longer be able to accept pledges and ship out all European countries under the EU guidelines. I am a very small business, and the requirements would put a burden on me that I cannot afford. I had to make the disappointing decision to stop shipping to this wonderful region of the world.

When will my item(s) be mailed out?

Delivery times will vary according to what you have ordered. Pins will most likely go out faster as the process is not as labor intensive. If you have ordered ONLY pins, then you’re items will possibly arrive sooner than August 2026. Updates will be made via Backerkit.

I'm going to be moving soon, can I update my address later?

Yes! You are welcome to update your address at ANY TIME, up until the day I have your items in hand and I’m ready to start mailing them out. I will send out a 48 hr final warning before locking it. Please, please, please keep a lookout for this email!

Do I qualify for the Freebie Pin?

You qualify to receive any of the freebies if you followed the instructions to get them while the campaign was LIVE. You cannot earn freebies after the campaign ends.

When will my card be charged?

The surveys will lock on by or before November 15th and cards will be charged March 18th.

Why am I expected to pay shipping?

During the Backerkit campaign, it was mentioned that shipping would be charged after the campaign ended and that it would be charged through the Backerkit Surveys. This is within the description after the product pictures, as well as within each pledge option in capital letters. Before starting the survey sent by Backerkit, there is also a disclaimer that explains that this is where shipping will be paid for. The shipping balance of your items will be shown towards the end of the survey. This does NOT include VAT charges which are also the buyer’s responsibility, previously mentioned in the campaign.

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
